I cannot say enough about working with Mary and her team at Food By Friends. We needed a local and affordable caterer for my Parent's 50th Anniversary celebration. After searching and contacting several catering companies in our region we stumbled on a local, to our town (Warwick, MD), caterer. Not only did Mary recommend the best way to keep our costs down, but her day of service was also invaluable to helping our event run smoothly and every guest focus on my parents' milestone celebration. Even when matters that would derail most catering companies and cause a stress point for all those hosting, Mary would solve the issues with little inconvenience to the event. If you are hosting a small to midsize event or wedding and want a caterer who is pleasant and goes above and beyond to make your day special, Mary and Food By Friends are by far the best option. ~ Jason C

I am so happy Food By Friends catered my wedding. Everything was so tasty and excellent. During the walk through prior, Mary helped us decide where to put the buffet, cocktail tables, she had beautiful chargers and plates. Mary and her staff were all godsends during an at times stressful wedding planning and I honestly can't thank them enough. The waitresses were so attentive and made plates for my husband and I since we had a buffet so we didn't have to stand up in line. One even helped my mother in law with my bustle. I worked with Mary for a last minute Memorial Day event and she and her team were sooo easy to work with. They set everything up, brought EVERYTHING and it made my day super easy. I didn't have to do anything but enjoy the wonderful food & drink they provided. You won't find a more personable lady! Mary made the difficult task of planning a funeral luncheon for our family so much easier, the hardest part was choosing from her vast, delicious menu! Our guests were blown away by the phenomenal food and the enormous grazing table! Leftovers were packed up nicely and have been gratefully appreciated since we've been home. Food By Friends catered my wedding and Mary did not disappoint! She was super communicative during the planning, and she and her team were early and ready to jam the day of. Food by Friends provided the catering for my September 2024 wedding. From the very beginning during our tasting months prior, Mary went above and beyond. She brought enough food to feed an army, that was also delicious, just for the tasting. And I was sold on the spot. And then leading up to the wedding she was very flexible, allowing us to use our own meat from our family farm, and giving her professional insight and suggestions for some planning we were unsure of. She gave us multiple options for selecting table ware, offered use of her own inventory of serving and event supplies, and did multiple walk throughs to make sure everything was taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Mary and her staff set up the majority of the tables after we set up an example table, which was so nice and not expected, and put together a last minute grazing table for us when we ran out of time to do it ourselves. At the wedding, the bar was the most popular place to be, of course, and the bartender stayed and handled the busy bar by herself for hours with no complaints and made sure everyone had a good time while doing it. They did a great job cleaning up after the event, and packaged our leftovers away nicely in the fridge. The day would not have gone as smoothly without her or the food by friends staff. We will definitely use them again in the future! We can’t thank them enough! ~ Caroline D
